Having been to this facility, I found it interesting that Gensler and Associates were responsible for this structure. I think The Star is unique because it is intended for professional and high sports alike. While the Dallas Cowboys use it as a practice facility, local high school students use it for Friday night lights.

The Star also includes an Omni hotel and some restaurants. One theme that I’ve noticed in Gensler and Associates’ projects is modern design. Most of the projects have clean lines, extensive use of glass, and high ceilings. The Star also incorporates many of these elements.
The Star’s overall design and feel gives off a world class, luxury feeling and is in line with the modern design used by Gensler and Associates.
