One of my favorite places in Oklahoma City is the Myriad Botanical Gardens. I love how it is located in the center of Downtown because it gives you a sense of peace although you are in the busiest part of town. Throughout the park there are waterfalls, ponds, and many beautiful flowers. Some of my best memories have taken place here including pictures in my gap and gown after graduation, senior prom pictures with all of my best friends, and arts festivals that take place right in the park.

The Myriad Botanical Gardens is a 17 acre park and garden located right next to the Chesapeake Area, Cox Convention Center, and Devon Energy Center. It is home to multiple tiers of landscape that surround a sunken pond. The Crystal Bridge, shown in the photos, holds 750 different plants ranging from tropical to desert habitats. They recently added on a subdivision to the Crystal Bridge called “Art in the Gardens” so visitors can browse different types of art created by people around the metro area. Throughout the park there are countless Sculptures such has the Friendship Sculpture, the Story Teller Chair, the Gold Fish Sculpture, and the “Gateway” Sculpture.
