Another famously made Texas buildings is the reunion tower, in downtown Dallas. This building is the tallest one in the city, and is very easily distinguished by its bright, colorful ball on top. This building is actually home to a 5 star restaurant that revolves in a circle in the ball on top. This design gives the customers a 360 degree view of the beautiful city. The first time i went to this building i was shocked by how many floors there were. But nothing come close to the breathtaking views that i captured while looking down over my favorite city.

Being from Texas, i have major Texan pride, and might i add that we have one of the most incredible capital buildings. Texas’ capital building is close to the top of the list of largest in the country. This place made me feel like i was in a castle. Its large ceilings and multiple statues and stain glass windows are spectacular. This building i home to politics and amazing architecture. i will definitely be returning to see the power of both the people who designed this beauty, and to feel the magical feeling of true, Texan landscaping and design.

This is the very building where it is believed that the last super took place. I had the most amazing opportunity to visit this gorgeous building in Israel over the last break from school. The ceilings in this room were giant, and the air felt almost cold even though it was summer time. The mood around, and in the walls was very spiritual and beautiful. I will always remember what it felt like to first step into this building and feel as though i was walking in the same foot steps at Jesus himself! how cool? I think everyone should visit this area as some point in their life, if not for the history of the religion, then for the old biblical timed buildings and architecture!

This building is located at the heart of my beautiful campus at the University of Oklahoma. Its such beautiful detail and red brick leave me speechless every time i walk by this building. Not only is the outside beautiful, but the inside is stunning as well. I have spent an embarrassing amount of time in this building, but the beauty around me never makes me want to complain. This is a building that i will remember forever, because of not only the memories made inside, but the pretty memories i’ll keep with me from every time i passed by.

The McCormick Tribune Campus Center is a building on the main campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology designed by Rem Koolhaas. The building was opened in September of 2003. It is a one-story building, but is 110,000 square feet. This building was the first that Rem Koolhaas designed in the United States. Koolhaas won a design contest that allowed him to be the architect of the Campus Center. Because of the noise of the train tracks overhead, Koolhaas decided to enclose a portion of the track in a stainless steel tube. The building is a central hub for student life on campus and provides space for offices and meetings.

Maison à Bordeaux is a residential building designed by Rem Koolhaas that sits overlooking the city of Bordeaux. It was completed in 1998, and built for a family that included a paralyzed husband. Rem Koolhaas was asked by the family to design a house that was wheelchair accessible but still complex. Koolhaas achieved this by designing what was essentially three separate houses stacked on top of one another, with a central elevator that moves between each floor. The elevator is disguised as the husband’s office. The house is a private residence and does not allow visitors but is still considered an architectural landmark.

De Rotterdam is a building designed by Rem Koolhaas in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Construction was not started until 2009, even though it was designed in 1998. Construction was completed on November 15, 2013. The building is made-up of three towers that are interconnected, and spans 44 floors. De Rotterdam is used for apartment spaces and office spaces. It also houses a hotel, restaurants, fitness facilities, and shops.

The Central Library in Seattle, Washington was designed by Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Prince-Ramus. The building is eleven stories tall, and is constructed primarily of glass and steel. It’s opening day was May 23, 2004. The library is 362,987 square feet, and is home to about 1.45 million books and other materials.

511 Fleetwood Drive is the house that I rented my sophomore year of college. I lived there with my roommate from the dorms, who had become one of my closest friends, and my older brother who was also attending the University of Oklahoma. It was a fairly small house but it was incredibly close to campus which was important for us as we all biked to class nearly every day. This house is important to me because it is the place where I really experienced being an adult for the first time. It was the first time that I had to pay rent, water and electricity bills, and learn how to cook.

Zaha Hadid designed the Heydar Aliyev Center, which was built in Baku, Azerbaijan from 2007-2013. The cultural center flows, looking as if  the roof would flutter in the wind. The building won London Design Museum’s Design of the Year in 2014, which judges fashion, furniture, graphics, graphics, and transportation as well as architecture. Zaha Hadid was the first woman to win the award, and it was the first award toward the category of architecture. Again, her design stands out through its unusual shape.
