I have eaten at this Taco Bell location several times in my life, both before and during college. I appreciate that they have 24-hour service at this establishment. The inside of the building is pleasant and bright from all the windows, the view is mostly parking lot and street traffic. Another good design feature is the drive-thru that wraps around the exterior of the building.

This particular building represents the opportunities it has given me to pay for my bills that allow me to live. This place has provided me with money for the past two years and flexibility unlike any other place. They understand that I am not going to be there long term and continuously encourage me to strive for success in school and apply to law school. Upon my first day I did not know what to expect and was frightened by the horror stories I heard about retail.

While backpacking, the Vatican was hands down my favorite place. just being there I felt closer to god. I heard people talk about it but In person it was way better then expected. While walking through the building i was in awe. I do plan on going back at some point and I constantly tell people that it is a must see.

I lived in this house off of Boyd for the first 3 years of my college experience. The first year I even had the opportunity to live with my older brother. Through the course of the years this house had housed many of my friends and hosted countless events. In these covid times, I miss being able to have a bunch of people over. A huge front and back yard were also a big plus. My only qualm about this home was that there was only one bathroom.

AT&T Stadium was a destruction of many of my fondest childhood memories with my family going to a Cowboys game in the old stadium, but also felt like a shift away from the legacy of a team I truly enjoy watching. I vaguely remember the Cowboys of the 1990’s, a team worth watching every Sunday. I remember how excited I used to be to turn on the game. Now, the team has a beautiful new building, but they seem to fumble every opportunity thrown their way. The building is like a gilding of the team, attempting to remind us of the greatness of America’s team, but as you walk in and look what the building contains, you realize it’s mostly hollow. The team isn’t what is portrayed on the outside.

In 2018 when OU faced George in the final four of the college football playoffs I had the privilege of going to the rose bowl. Just looking at the stadium screams tradition. i remember thinking about all the great teams that have played there over the years. The way the cheers from the crowd echoed was breath taking.

One of the benefits to having the new(-ish, at this point) stadium in Dallas is the great press that it often draws. Honestly, Jerry Jones is a master marketer and built a truly incredible product for us to enjoy. The building is beautiful, the opening roof allows nearly ideal weather conditions, and the opulence of the stadium could make any football fan feel as if they were in the Roman Colosseum of old. Wonder and amazement are the feelings the building feels designed to draw out of any passer-by, myself included. Driving down the highway, this piece of architecture is impossible to miss.

My brother took me to a Texas State championship high school football game at the stadium. The immensity of the location and the grandeur slap you in the face like a wet towel as you pull into the parking lot, and then blind you as you walk through the doors and see the giant screen high above a beautiful field of green. It is a strange juxtaposition, watching a sport you love, played by people you are interested about, in a place that symbolizes the immense gap between yourself and the dreams of prosperity you may hold. My first experience was overall pleasant here, but with a taint that will never leave it.

The opportunity to design an international fair with imagination was passed over in favour of a loose adaptation of Classical architecture. The spectacle of an ensemble of these all-white buildings was an enormous success with the public. The Adler and Sullivan contribution was the Transportation Building, which stood apart and was painted in various strong colours as if in protest. It was a long, low arcaded building with a large polychromed archway entrance (the so-called Golden Door). Not all visitors were impressed by the neo-Roman grandeur of the fair. André Bouilhet, a delegate representing a Parisian decorative-arts union, praised the originality of the Transportation Building. Furthermore, he arranged for a small exhibit in Paris of Sullivan’s work, including a plaster cast of the Golden Door and some photographs of his taller buildings.”
