These buildings seem very bare bones, but the intent behind them is a great one. These are homes designed by Yasmeen Lari. Yasmeen Lari is known for her work in developing buildings and homes for citizens in Pakistan and India who are poor and underprivileged. The project comprises 787 low-cost dwelling units arranged in 14 clusters of single, two-story, and three-story blocks.  The buildings provide multiple one and two bedroom homes for at a low cost for the underprivileged in Lahore, Pakistan.

This building is the Pakistan Finance and Trade Center, for the Pakistani government. This building was developed by Yasmeen Lari and was finished in 1989. While this government building looks like a regular government building, the building has multiple levels to it with an attached parking garage. Although it may appear boring, it is very complex and interesting to look at.

This is the Pakistan State Oil House building. It is one of the most beautiful and intrinsically fascinating buildings in Pakistan. In 1991 the building was completed and it was over saw by Yasmeen Lari. This building belongs to the leading oil company in Pakistan and is known as the PSO house in Pakistan. The building is centrally symmetrical and has glass going from the center up to the two sides. It looks amazing.

The Taj Mahal Hotel built in Karachi, Pakistan, was architecturally designed by the first woman architect in Pakistan’s history. Yasmeen Lari, over saw the production and assembly of this building in 1981. It is one of the most famous hotels in Pakistan and has such an incredible design.

I took these pictures of the Lincoln Memorial in December of 2018. It was a great experience to visit this memorial in person. The famous Gettysburg address is what is carved into the walls. The memorial itself is giant and an incredible feat of architecture and artistry. My girlfriends and I spent the entire day going around D.C. going to all the museums and memorials. This was our last place to visit in D.C. and we got there just as it had gotten dark, so it was lit up and had an aura to it that I feel wouldn’t have been there during the day. I have heard of the Lincoln memorial all my life and to be able to see it in person was special and is definitely one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited.

This is a picture I took inside Lincoln Financial Field. This is the home of the Philadelphia Eagles. I have been an Eagles fan since I was 8 years old. I got to go to my first Eagles game in December 2018. It was a Monday night football game and I was so excited to be able to be at an actual game. The game was against the formerly named Washington Redskins, now known as the Washington Football Team. Adrian Peterson (an OU legend) was Washington’s starting running back at the time and he broke loose for a 90 yard touchdown in the first quarter. That was pretty cool to see since I’m from Oklahoma and grew up watching Adrian Peterson. The Eagles ended up winning the game and it was such a great experience, one that I will never forget.

This is a blurry but decent picture of where my first job was. This building is in downtown Bartlesville Oklahoma and is a few stories high. Above the Subway there is the college Rodgers State University, where I spent my first year of college. As well as a few other businesses. This building is special to me because its where I began working when I turned 16. I worked here for three years and I really enjoyed my time working here throughout high school. This building brings back a ton of memories for me that I associate with being in high school. Its also the same building where I started college so that adds a little extra to the feelings I have towards it.
