International Church of Cannabis

I went to the cannabis church on a trip to Denver with some friends. At first I thought it would be a gimmicky or cheesy place but upon entering it looks like a plain little church. It’s not till you enter the main church area that is covered in art and light by stained glass windows. My friends and I just took pictures and played music, it was neat and enjoyable. With some research, I learned that it used to be a Lutheran church and was converted.

Taco Bell 12th AVe

I have eaten at this Taco Bell location several times in my life, both before and during college. I appreciate that they have 24-hour service at this establishment. The inside of the building is pleasant and bright from all the windows, the view is mostly parking lot and street traffic. Another good design feature is the drive-thru that wraps around the exterior of the building.

My Old House

I lived in this house off of Boyd for the first 3 years of my college experience. The first year I even had the opportunity to live with my older brother. Through the course of the years this house had housed many of my friends and hosted countless events. In these covid times, I miss being able to have a bunch of people over. A huge front and back yard were also a big plus. My only qualm about this home was that there was only one bathroom.

Edmond Santa FE High school

This is where I went to high school for 4 years. It was a great building for education and socializing with my peers. I have many fond memories of classes and extracurricular activities.

As a public school, the main goal of the building was not aesthetics but cost-effectiveness and utility. I did not like the design and there were not many windows. This helped the building act as a tornado shelter.

This was a proficient building for housing 2000 students, and I’m appreciative of my time there. In the future, I would not want to live or work in a place with similar architectural features. The lack of windows serve a purpose but decrease the enjoyment of being inside.
