Pakistan State Oil House
INTBAU Centre
The Intbau Centre is a unique building. This building is also not like anything we see in our country today. The material chosen to build this building amazes me. I wonder how the roof holds up in the weather elements.
Yasmeen Lari
Yasmeen Lari is the first lady to become an architect in Pakistan. One piece of her work that I found interesting was the Women’s Centre in Khan, Pakistan. The design of the building is not like anything I am use to seeing in our country. I found the material she wanted to use on the building to be very unique.
Bridge Creek High School
Bridge Creek High School is a well thought out design in my opinion. The building was designed in such a way that when the school had outgrown its building it could later have easy add-ons. I am the type of person to try to always be thinking ahead and I felt the architect was thinking ahead on this design. All schools will grow at some point and this was a perfect design for it.
Dale Hall
Dale Hall is a unique building to me. Many of my freshman level courses were in this building. There is nothing like taking a test in one of those small Dale Hall seats. I find the interior of Dale Hall to be designed very unique. The stairway right in the middle of the building when you first walk in is awesome. I spent many hours in classes in this building.
Bass Pro shops
Bass pro shops is a place I visit very frequently. I find the architecture of this building to be unique. The layout of the building is very open, but when I walk into this place I feel as if I am at home. I always enjoy going to the Bass Pro in OKC. There are not many buildings that I enjoy going to more than this one.
Gould hall
Gould Hall will always be a special place to me. Gould Hall was the first building I had ever been inside of at OU. The first time I toured the building I was told that the architects designed the building backwards. Whether that is true or not I have not ever officially heard. I do find the building to be unique in its design. The building is not a hard building to get turned around in. One of the things I find most interesting is that it is used for a learning tool for many of my construction classes. The building has all exposed MEP throughout the building showing, which has been used for learning and explanation in many of my construction classes.
