Yvonne Farrel University Campus UTEC

This is the last building I looked at by Yvonne. This building isn’t one of my favorite buildings but none of the less is still very cool. Yvonne incorporates the long and many windows throughout the building. To me this building looks like it would belong in some dystopian movie or something like that. The building is just very bland but the shape and different levels of the building a very cool.

Yvonne Farrell Fay Jones School of architecture and design

Once again Yvonne creates another stunning modern building. This building is definitely my favorite out of all the buildings I have seen from Yvonne. This building is super unique and is unlike anything else I have ever seen. The picture is a little blurry but at the top, there is an open floor to the outside where plants are coming off from the sides. She incorporates her signature theme of tall long windows and many pillars running down from the building.

Yvonne Farrell UTEC Structure

This building is another creation from Yvonne Farrell. In this building, you are able to see all the windows and pillars only on the front of the building. This is because the building faces the coast and behind it is just city litter. The Pillars are there to easily allow the ocean breeze to enter the building so the building never gets hot. Yvonne has a style of a lot of windows, balconies and having the building all the same color made from some type of stone.

Yvonee Farrell Anthony Timberland Center

After looking at Yvonne Farrell’s different buildings that she’s created, I’ve started to pick up on common themes in her buildings. Yvonne really likes the modern style with stone and big windows. This building is the Anthony Timberland Center at the University of Arkansas. As you can see the building is very modern with big long windows at the front. She also incorporated a big balcony on each side of the building to go with a more symmetrical look. One thing I like about the building is how it’s somewhat symmetrical but not perfectly. The roof on the right side is a little bit taller and the balconies on both sides don’t perfectly match but it’s close.

American Airlines Center

Me being a huge Dallas sports fan I had to include the American Airlines Center. AAC is home to the Dallas Mavericks and Stars. I have a passion for basketball which correlates to my love for the Dallas Mavericks. every time I walk into that arena I’m overwhelmed with joy.

Michael F. Price

Ever since I got to OU I thought Price was one of the prettiest buildings on campus. 3 years later I still stand by that. My emotions walking into price however change pretty drastically depending on the day. Price will always be a part of my college career and I wouldn’t of asked for anything different.

Basketball gym

This gym is where I grew up playing basketball all of middle school and high school. This gym means a lot to me because of the time I spent here. It would always make me feel happy here because I was surrounded by my friends and basketball. This gym is different from most gymes because of how the court is sunken down from the stands making it unique.

Bubba’s

Bubba’s Fried Chicken is a restaurant in Dallas Texas. It’s no ordinary restaurant for me because it’s maybe a favorite restaurant in the world. Walking inside Bubba’s always puts a smile on my face because I not only love the food, but I also love the old school vibe it has going for it. From the architecture of the building and its old school sign to the inside cafeteria, décor makes bubba’s like no other. Bubba’s always makes you feel good when you walk inside because they welcome you with southern hospitality.
