Rockmagneten

Rockmagneten in Denmark is still in progress but it is absolutely awesome! The gold and the way it reflects reminds me of lights and how it looks outside a theater. It reminds me of dreams. To the right, it looks like speakers to me. I love that it reminds me of music and shows at the same time. It looks very experimental and I think that’s super cool.

Shenzhen Terraces

One of MVRDV’s coolest buildings to me is Shenzhen Terraces in China. This is absolutely beautiful. When I first saw I picture of it I didn’t believe it was real! My favorite part is how eco-friendly it is. You can tell by all the greenery you can see, but it was built with this in mind. The layers look almost like pancakes and it creates a town that looks like something out of a futuristic movie.

JUt Interior

One of my favorite creations by MVRDV is the Jut Interior in Taiwan. Not only is this interior absolutely beautiful but it is also made from recycled threads so it is eco-friendly!

I find this interior so calming. It makes me want to sit in there and just relax. It is so intricate and must have taken so much time and attention to detail. It is just wonderful.

Didden villaGe

One of my favorite creations by MVRDV is Didden Village in Rotterdam. It is a rooftop house which is separated by rooms to give family members privacy. I absolutely love the blue used and the space outside of the buildings.

Inside it is red, which is an awesome contrast to the blue. There a large bookshelves and spiral staircases which make me feel like I should listen to “Wonderwall” on vinyl and sit in the chair reading a book and I would be the coolest person in the world. I love it. The hardwood floors are also a major plus.

Finally, my absolute favorite part of the house! The roofs are perfect to sit on and think. The blue is a nice touch to relax you while you sit on the rooftop being the coolest person ever. I absolutely adore this house!!

Mgm Grand

When I was younger my family and I would travel a lot for my dad’s work. One of my favorite places we ever stayed was at the MGM Grand. I remember this place because of the fond memories I have and because of how cool the building was. Outside it is tall and magnificent. It has a staircase design on the front of the building. It also has the famous lion outside of it. The indoor part of the building was huge and spacious. It had gold accents, my favorite. The building really is grand inside and out.

Crowne Plaza – Tulsa, Ok – circa 2009

One of the most beautiful buildings to me is the old Crowne Plaza in Tulsa. I remember this building so vividly. The time I stayed their was the night of the head to head Billy Joel and Elton John tour. I remember pulling up to the hotel, with so much excitement, and seeing such a uniquely built building. I loved how vintage it looked. I could just hear the stories fumbling off the tall building.
