Herman Hertzberger

Paswerk by Architectuurstudio Herman Hertzberger HH | Semi-detached houses

I found these condos to be positive. The condos have multiple levels and seem to bring in lots of natural sunlight. I enjoyed how the condos are facing a river with a nice view. I could see myself sitting outside one of these condos doing my homework.

I think the chase concert hall designed by Herman hertzberger int he Netherlands. I love the structure of the exterior roof, it reminds me of waves. The indoor red interior is very regal. Fit for a famous opera singer or large orchestra to perform. The spiraling staircase inside adds some dimension and excitement to the space. I image the staircase brings the sound throughout the space. I hope to visit this place one day.

I found this building by Hertzberger to be negative. Whenever I picture a positive building, I think of lots of natural sunlight coming into the building and lots of windows. This building has the opposite with small windows and not many of them. I do enjoy seeing that the building has different levels, just like lots of other of his work.

I found this building to be very interesting. I really enjoy that multiple levels are being shown and the fact that there are plants and trees on each level. Each level seems like there are lots of natural sunlight coming into each room, which brings a positive energy to each level. I think this building has a very positive energy to it.

Cotton bowl

The Cotton Bowl is one of my favorite venues, I always have a good time here. It is also surrounded by the Texas State Fair, which is one of the most fun experiences of my college life. The feeling that I get walking into the cotton bowl is a rush of energy and excitement. Every time I am in the stadium for a game, I sit with about 5 to 10 of my closest friends. So whenever I think about this building, I think of friendship and excitement.

Couch tower

Couch Tower is a very positive building for me. It was where I lived freshman year with 3 of my best friends. Freshman year was so much fun and living in couch with all of my friends in couch or nearby was very fun. Even though our dorm room was dirty all the time, I still would go back and live there with my friends. Whenever I walked into couch, I felt a sense of excitement, it felt like there was always something fun going on in couch.

Physical Sciences center

The Physical Sciences Center is a negative building for me in Norman. I have had a total of five classes here throughout my time at OU and I have not done well in any that are in this building. They were not classes that were for my major and they were harder than my classes for my accounting major. I would also dread going to the classes in the physical science center and would be happy as I left the class either. Every time I walked into the building I was immediately in a negative mood and did not want to be there. Now that I am a senior, I am glad that all the classes I am taking are in price and not in the physical sciences center.

Gaylord Memorial stadium

Gaylord Memorial Stadium is one of my favorite buildings in the world. It is influential to me because I have been going to OU football games ever since I was a little kid. My family has had season tickets since I was in middle school, and we have not missed many home games since we got the tickets. Whenever I walk down the stadium steps to my seat, I always get the chills and feel a rush of energy. It is also very influential in the sense that I am always with my family while I am at the stadium.
