Richard Meier designed The Getty, it opened up in 1997. An amazing museum right on the pacific coast, it was a whopping 1.3 billion dollar project. The Museum has a way of engaging the art with the visitors, they also have an amazing courtyard that is known world wide. The courtyard even features statue art, a very simplistic, but elegant look. Not only is the building a museum, but it is also use to do art research.
