One of my best traditions with my family is celebrating birthdays at Vast, which is a restaurant located in the Devon Energy Center. Vast is on the 49th and 50th floor of the tower with windows on every side of the restaurant. My favorite part about Vast is that no matter where you’re sitting in the restaurant, you can look out and see the entire city.

Devon Energy Center construction began in 2009 and finished in 2012. It is a 50 story commercial building that ties with Chicago’s Park Tower for the 62nd tallest building in the United States. It encloses 1.8 million square feet and it stands on a 6 story rotunda and a 6 story podium structure. It was designed by architect Pickard Chilton of Kendall/ Heaton Associates. It is composed of concrete that stands 844 feet in the air with 52 elevators to carry you to your floor of choice.
